EDTA solns. (1, 2, 5 and 10%) were given orally to some, and the others were injected s.c. every 2nd day. Body wt. decreased after oral administration, with a min. on the 5th day. After s.c. injection, the body wt. gradually declined. As the concn. of EDTA increased, the wt. decreased accordingly. Hypercalcified and hypocalcified striped dentin was found in treated groups.]
