Addns. of Zn stimulated wt. gain and total Zn absorbed and retained (although the percentage was decreased), and increased Zn concn. in the femur. Addn. of EDTA increased wt. gain, Zn absorption and retention, and concn. of Zn in the femur. At an environmental temp. of 5° the percentage retentions of Ca and of Mg were below those obtained at a temp. of 27°.
