(1855) [Three hundred and sixty-nine worker in the printing shop of a newspaper office were examined as follows: (1) Pb content of the urine was determined; (2) each worker received 2 g of CaEDTA by mouth; (3) the Pb content of the urine was examined 3-6 hr later. It was considered that the difference between (3) and (1) represented more precisely the degree of Pb absorption than (1) alone.
