Antibiotics for Infection?

Dear Dr. Gordon,

Yesterday my wife was clawed on the leg by accident by our pet cat. It opened a vein so I rushed her to the ER. They dressed the wound, gave her a tetanus shot and a prescription for a course of antibiotics.

My question is, since we are on your protocol per our consultation in your office last month, should she take the antibiotics?

It seems contraindicative with our use of the Primal Defense probiotic and Inuflora, which are supposed to replace intestinal bacteria destroyed by previous antibiotics. Also, how about the FYI she is taking? We await your response before buying the prescription.

I have not had to use an antibiotic in years because of the power of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Garlic, as in Essential Daily Defense, and/or KYOLIC along with both my IMMUNI-T2 for Gut associated lymphoid tissue support and my Immuni-T3 for control of all systemic infections and support of the entire immune system.
