Affinities for EDTA
Do you know where I might find an extended list of minerals/metals and their relative affinities for EDTA?
The list that most of us have used is found in "The Scientific Basis of Chelation Therapy" by Halstead and Rozema. This wonderful reference book is still available from ACAM and, I believe, it is also available from ICIM, The International College of Integrative Medicine, where the extensive chelation training courses they offer lead to potential certification by the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology (previously known as The American Board of Chelation Therapy - ABCT). There are also textbooks regarding metal binding stability constants for MOST ligands, which include, of course, all weak organic acids, including lactic acid and ascorbic acid.
Sincerely,
Garry F. Gordon, MD,DO,MD(H)
